Arcturus UAV’s T-Series catapult launch UAVs deliver exceptional payload capacity and endurance in a rugged, deployment proven airframe. Manufactured primarily of carbon fiber, the monocoque design provides a strong cavernous fuselage for integration of over sized payloads. Wing hard points open up further options for payload integration. A central avionics power and signal distribution system provides easy payload interconnectivity. Interchangeable payload pallets allow for easy removal of payload for service or replacement with alternately integrated payloads. • The T-15,16, and 20 aircraft are all powered by fuel injected Honda 4 stroke engines which deliver excpetional fuel economy and all the reliability inherent in a large volume production engine. • All T-series aircraft are designed for catapult launch from a compact Arcturus Pneumatic Launch System (PLS). Unlike competing launchers, the Arcturus PLS is easily transported and set up by a two-man crew in less than 10 minutes with no lifts over 70 lbs. • Standard recovery is by belly landing. The robust T-Series airframe easily withstands recovery on any graded surface. • All Arcturus aircraft are designed for quick deployment in an expeditionary environment. An aircraft can be assembled and ready for flight in less than 15 minutes by only a two man crew.
Arcturus has integrated a multitude of payloads into the T-Series aircraft. All of Cloud Cap Technologies 200 and 400 Series of gyro stabilized gimbal EO/IR payloads have been integrated and are standard options. Numerous 3-D mapping, SAR, LIDAR, communications relay, COMINT, and SIGINT systems are available.
